Effective Implementation - Week 4 Recap
Removing Bottlenecks, Anticipating Challenges, Reporting to Stakeholders
Welcome to my Week 4 Implementation Series Recap!
Last week marked the final chapter of my Implementation Series for May, and I focused on sharing practical tips to help you maintain momentum as your project progresses.
If you missed any of the posts last week, here’s a quick summary of what I covered:
Act quickly to remove bottlenecks
Sometimes it’s as simple as:
✅Reallocating help for a day
✅Escalating a decision
✅Unblocking a process
✅Just listening and asking, “What’s stopping us from moving forward?”
💡 Momentum matters. A project doesn’t need a perfect plan as much as it needs steady flow.

Anticipate challenges before they arise
➡️Anticipate delays.
➡️Anticipate bottlenecks.
➡️Anticipate the people or processes that might slow your team down.
And then, put measures in place to mitigate BEFORE it becomes a hurdle.
When you anticipate well, you save your team time, reduce stress, and keep momentum alive.

Anticipate stakeholder questions
One of the most underrated skills in project implementation is the ability to effectively update key stakeholders.
These updates often happen in meetings, and they matter.
My top tip?
Overcommunicate.
Provide full context. Anticipate their questions. Think like an outsider looking in.
